Everyday habits

• Wear your pieces often. Regular contact with skin slows the tarnish that builds up when jewellery sits unused.
• Put jewellery on last, after perfume, lotion, and hairspray have dried.
• Take pieces off before you shower, swim, exercise heavily, or sleep.
• Keep silver away from chlorine, salt water, and cleaning products.

Storing your jewellery

Store each piece dry and away from air. The pouch in your order box works well, or use a small zip bag with the air pressed out. If you live somewhere humid, add a silica sachet. Keep pieces separate so clasps and stones do not scratch softer surfaces.

Cleaning at home

For a light dullness, buff the piece with the polishing cloth included with your order. For more stubborn tarnish, soak it for a few minutes in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap, work gently with a soft toothbrush, rinse, and dry fully with a soft cloth. Do not use silver dips or abrasive pastes, as they remove a thin layer of metal each time and can strip oxidised detail.

Repairs and resizing

Loose clasps, thinning chains, and rings that no longer fit can usually be put right. Ring resizing and size exchanges are free once per order within 30 days, and details are on the returns and refunds page. For repairs outside that window we will quote a fair cost before doing any work.

A note on natural change

Silver is a soft, living metal. Fine surface marks and a slightly warmer tone over time are signs a piece is being worn, not signs of poor quality. If you ever want a piece to look new again, that is what the free polishing service is for.
